We used Chris for a corporate volunteer event and he worked with our budget to create a fun atmosphere for the entire project.

Chris was very positive, friendly and incredibly easy to work with! He made sure we had exactly what we needed at all times.

Chris went above and beyond the duties of just a DJ but even took photos throughout the event!

We are looking forward to the next opportunity to work with Chris again!

As you can tell by reading over Chris’ reviews, he’s a GREAT guy and DJ and we think “accommodation” is his middle name.

For any couple getting married, one of the biggest priorities is making sure everyone has FUN. The two main components to that……loving family/friends and good dance music!  With the family/friends taken care of, we needed someone that could keep people on the dance floor.

From our first meeting with Chris, we knew he would be the person to make this happen. He listened to everything we wanted and asked questions that helped us understand what he needed from us and how the reception would unfold.

We had a special twist to include in the reception….Armenian music.  Chris took the time and came to the rehearsal dinner to get an idea of the traditions, music, and accompanying dancing that ensues!

During the reception, he did a wonderful job of incorporating the traditional Armenian music with his selection of music. Not one to watch the clock, we did get ONE more song….in fact, we went another 30 minutes after closing time! And to top off his wonderful service and professionalism, he sent us some pictures and videos he had taken while the reception was going on.

So we can whole-heartedly recommend Chris for ANY event you have where you want the guests engaged and having a GREAT time!!!
Thanks again for everything Chris!!!! -Aline & Paul Whitman

Rob & Jessica's Wedding at Lucie Stern Center

"We are particular. We searched DJ's for over a month before we were lucky enough to find Chris with CSagum Entertainment. What a relief, he is very smart, experienced, and doesn't have the grease that we smelled with so many other wedding DJ's we interviewed.

From the start, DJ Chris showed his organizational skills and it helped that he came to our house to understand our vision and consult on wedding day challeneges far in advance. He provided advice, pre-scouting the venue, working with the caterer, and our day-of coordinator; everything was seemless.

Did I mention the music? Ha! Our post-dinner dance floor never emptied. He knows good music and feels the crowd. Best part is that he kept music balance for the grannies, aunts, and uncles to shake a tail, too.

Need more? The event came to a close, we had our last dance and then all our guests chanted for "One More Song!"... and he complied. TWICE!

Thank you DJ Chris, you ensured we had a wonderful wedding experience. -R&J"

Congratulations again Rob and Jessica! It was an honor meeting and partying with your friends and family at the attractive Lucie Stern Center. I enjoyed your version of “I Wanna Grow Old With You.” Cherish these memories forever! –by DJ Chris

6.16.12 Alexis and Amir at The Rosewood Sand Hill
"As soon as we met Chris… We knew he would be the DJ for our wedding! He is personable, got to know us as a couple and most importantly allowed us to decide everything on our own but offered advice when needed.

We used his services our entire wedding day… the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. He kept the mood just right for each event throughout the evening. He was very accommodating to all of our needs and helped us along the way. My dad had written us a special song and he made sure my dad had everything he needed from the microphones to amplifiers. He even came to our rehearsal to understand every detail and get a chance to meet our friends and family. He took a lot of stress off of us and dealt with the timeline for the evening and worked closely with all of our other vendors to make sure things ran smoothly.

One of the best parts of the evening was when my husband and I looked around and everyone was crowding the dance floor. All of our guests told us what an amazing job he did. Looking back, Chris feels like a friend who attended the wedding and we appreciate all of his efforts in making our wedding even more special.  -Alexis and Amir

Thank you Chris for making the night fun, memorable, and magical!!!"

Congratulations again Amir and Alexis!! The weather was warm, the
Rosewood Sandhill was a great venue, and you both were Awesome!! Thanks for letting me be a part of one of your most important events. It was a pleasure to meet your families and friends. They had a great time on the dance floor. I enjoyed chatting with them all! Best wishes! -by DJ Chris

Nikki and MJ's Wedding at the San Mateo Marriott

"We knew we wanted a DJ but didn't want a stereotypical wedding DJ who would play Top 40 tunes. Chris was anything but that stereotypical DJ. His professionalism was like no other and that truly attracted us to work with him.

We opted to use his services for the ceremony and the cocktail hour and were truly blown away by how perfectly he planned the sound system to make the most of our outdoor acoustics. During the reception he made the right musical choices that pleased our friends and family and got them dancing all night long. Keeping the party going was his main focus and his goal for the night, and he certainly succeeded in this.

The music he played definitely fit into our overall vision of our wedding. He is great to communicate with, he gets back to you right away and is so helpful when you have any questions. He gives his opinions about musical styles that may or may not work, we chose to put our trust in him and allowed him to make the musical choices that would be best to get everyone on the dance floor. We chose to go with Chris because entertainment was a big focus for our event and he delivered that perfectly.

Thank you so much Chris for making our special day…a dream come true!" by Nikki and MJ

Congratulations Nikki and MJ! From the introduction, to the finger foam, and throughout the night, the baseball theme (Go Giants!) was "DYNAMITE"! The ceremony outdoors at the San Mateo Marriott was very beautiful, and everyone had a great night at the reception.  -by DJ Chris

Liz and Jim's Wedding at the California Cafe

"Chris was fantastic from the very first moment we met him!! He was very personable and asked questions to get to know my husband and I and our musical likes and dislikes. My biggest concern was prompt replies from potential DJs and Chris always came through. Chris even helped me fine tune my reception timeline and I made some changes based on his advice -which turned out perfectly!!

Chris was very flexible, especially since our event coordinator bailed on us without any notice, and he had to work through some issues even before my husband and I arrived. Chris worked through the obstacles so well that we didn't even know he ran into any!! He was both professional and entertaining.

Chris played music that got everyone on the dance floor, both young and old. A guest and I even danced as zombies when Thriller came on!! There was so much energy and it was so much fun!! Instead of the traditional bouquet/garter toss, we had an anniversary dance instead and Chris did a great job getting to the last couple standing and having them share marital advice with us.

Our wedding was perfect, despite some last minute hiccups and Chris rolled with every punch and had a very calming effect on my husband (which is hard to do!!). I had a bad experience working with a previous DJ and was nervous interviewing another DJ, but Chris exceeded every expectation and concern.

We would have Chris do our next event in a heartbeat!!"

Congratulations again Liz and Jim! The reception's theme was very meaningful and unique! Everyone enjoyed the night at the California Cafe. I am honored to be a part of your wedding day. You both are an amazing couple!
